Surface drift
2026
Broad sweeps of deep brown, umber, and muted crimson stretch across the surface, interrupted by passages of raw canvas. Pigment dragged, pooled, bleeding at its edges. Drips trace gravity downward through the field.
Language has receded here almost entirely. What remains are faint, asemic inscriptions – residue rather than text, meaning worked through and dispersed into the surface.
A continuous state of becoming and undoing.
